Washing
Wash your silk item by hand in cold water only, using Marseille soap.
Drying
Dry your silk flat, avoiding extreme temperatures (e.g., direct sunlight through a window).
NB: Never tumble dry.
Ironing
Set your iron to a silk temperature (120-130°C). Use a damp pressing cloth (fine cotton - a cotton handkerchief, for example) between your item and the soleplate of your iron to protect the silk and prevent shining or burning.
